in a nutshell:

I am hopelessly sentimental and love creating art by documenting the beauty I perceive in life.  I live for yoga, hiking, weekend road trips, a good book, keeping a daily journal, and anything chocolate.  :)

As a Los Angeles based freelance photographer, I specialize in documentary children's portraits and fine art photography.  I received a BA in photography from Columbia College Chicago in 2003.  My work has since been published in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Parent Magazine, Los Angeles Times.com, Chicago Public Radio.com, and countless Chicago Children's Museum publications.

Your May 20th post, btw, has "comments off". Don't know if that was intentional.

May 21, 2007 - 11:37 am The WordSmith from Nantucket - You might consider adding something like a statcounter to your blog. Unless you already have the means to keep track of visitors and IP addresses and locations.

May 21, 2007 - 11:49 am Teri - Hey Michael! Thanks for your thoughts! And thank you for catching that my comments were off on my may 20th post. I will also definitely look into the stat counter. I currently use google analytics for tracking my website so maybe I can use it for this as well.. if not, i'll check out your link!
