kate’s family blog post continues…
so, i know i’m going a little overboard here, but i have to share so many from this session. i feel that my documentary style is fully conveyed through these images and it makes me feel so good! i’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…

Over two years ago, my family and I hired photographer, Kate Elliott, to document my wedding day… it was the best decision of my wedding planning since that person is now one of my greatest friends. Last month, we planned a family photo session at one of my favorite places back home in Michigan (for-mar nature preserve) and also the place where Ben and I had many special wedding photographs taken. It was so much fun to turn the tables and take pictures of her and her family this time around!
The reason for this quick, late night post is because they are closing on a house next week and it’s such an exciting time! I know they have been waiting so patiently for this moment… I also know they are anxious to see some new photos that they will be able to decorate their new walls with! Here’s just a couple, I literally picked at random… many more to share in the near future!
