if there was a contest for the world’s biggest sweet tooth, i think i would have a chance at winning… so, when Cathleen of Sugar Crush Sweets contacted me to photograph her cookies and cakes for her new baking business venture, i was all for it!
i feel like i should pick my favorites, so i’d have to say it’s a tie between her Fudgy Nut Chunks (chewy, dark chocolately goodness) and her signature cookie, Crush Crescents (a family recipe that dates back to the mid-1800s). but.. i also have to mention the Carrot Cake, the most deliciously moist cake i’ve ever had. i’m lying if i didn’t admit that my husband and i devoured the entire box of sweets she sent home with me (fit for a party) in 3 days.
