January 10, 2012 - 2:09 pm - I LOVE all of these shots... the kids are always adorable-- but the last shot of Jennie & Steve is amazing! Why didn't that make the card, Jennie!?!? XOXO

When I first reviewed the photographs from my NYC portrait sessions, the irony leapt off the screen… my favorite images were not captured amidst extraordinary Central Park landmarks or sweeping cityscapes. The photographs that instantly grabbed my attention and tugged at my heart were the quiet moments when an honest glance seamlessly intersected with the click of my shutter. Upon this wise mom’s request, I was honored to document a simple glimpse of their “everyday.” Afterall, it is inside their fleeting childhood bedrooms and on the bustling city streets where life actually happens. Beautifully ordinary moments, indeed.
November 8, 2011 - 12:56 am - especially beautiful post, Teri. gorgeous work.

loved seeing how much these 3 little ladies have grown up, how much they love their michigan summers, the big swing, the land, their horse.
August 18, 2011 - 10:56 am - These pictures are absolutely spectactular. You manage to catch the subjects in natural settings with amazing results. The girls each looks so beautiful and real. Anna has the face of a super model in the close up on the swing. I love Naomi pensively looking up to the oncoming storm. And Claire is always precious.
August 18, 2011 - 11:03 am - Thank you Cheryl. Your granddaughters are lovely little models, without even knowing it ;) They are so easy to capture, because they live so fully in the moment. I loved every minute with them!

In these moments, it’s true… nothing else matters.
April 12, 2011 - 2:50 pm - Thanks so much Teri! You're beautiful art work is indeed universally much appreciated! They are also dealing with radiation fears in the air, food and water. These pictures remind us to hold on to what is precious in life. It is WE who are honored!
April 13, 2011 - 7:07 am - Your welcome, Lynn. Your family is in my thoughts.. I hope they experience relief very soon. Photographing your girls was true inspiration to me to hang on to what matters. Their spirits are so bright and free.. it's contagious!

On two winter days And across the country apart, There are two boys who love to fly. With their wide eyes turned up to the sky, I see they are dreamers already. The first set of images was taken in December in Los Angeles, California. The second set was taken earlier this evening in Grand...
March 7, 2011 - 12:52 pm - such a cheery post, Teri! beautiful pictures, as always.
March 7, 2011 - 12:53 pm - thank you, jennie :)

Looking back to last August/September when we were amidst the final stretch of planning and preparation for our big move, the days swirled together and vanished like leaves blowing in the wind. Spending time with close friends, visiting my favorite places, and photographing some of my wonderful clients during this brief and bittersweet time …
