detroit art

I shot these images for my friend Luke Emeott back in September.. it’s pretty great to have such talented, inspiring friends. These posters are 16″x16″ and are each screen printed by Luke using materials and paper from Michigan. You can read more about this project here on his blog. Be sure to peruse around, as there’s a lot of great art and more posts about his Detroit art posters.

If you are in the Detroit area and want to purchase an original screen printed poster, they are (as far as I know) still available at Bureau of Urban Living near Wayne State. If you aren’t in the Detroit area, you can email me with interest and I can get you in touch with him to purchase one.

yoga + beach = beautiful (continued)

Our first shoot took place north of Malibu and while it was a beautiful area with amazing rocks, the sky was dark and overcast. I knew I wanted to re-shoot on a day with a visible sunset in order to get a shot like this:

A couple more favorites:

This is Amanda who teaches yoga and spinning at YAS in Venice, CA. Check out her classes if you live in the area!
